Mission and Beliefs

Our Mission

Here at Faith Connections, one of our most important priorities is to make an impact in our community.
Being residents of Fort Mill, we desire to be active participants in service to the community, partnering
with local businesses and connecting with the residents to establish a lasting connection between the
church, God, and the community. We believe you are an essential piece of this puzzle and have a direct
hand in our success.

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Faith Connections Ministry based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

God

There is one true and living God, the Creator, Ruler, and Sustainer of the universe, who deserves our total devotion and obedience. He has sovereignly ordained all things and alone possesses all wisdom, knowledge, and power. God is eternal and triune, revealing Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each with distinct personal attributes, yet one in nature, essence, and being.

Mankind

All people are created in the image of God and have equal worth, dignity, and value. Like Adam and Eve, we each have the choice to believe, obey, and submit to God’s plan. Only by accepting the salvation God freely offers through Jesus can we truly reconnect with Him, fully and forever.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Though He lived a sinless life and perfectly obeyed God’s law, He chose to take upon Himself the sins of all who would believe in Him. After His atoning death on the cross, Jesus rose three days later, proving His victory over sin and death. He ascended to the right hand of the Father, where He now reigns over all things and intercedes for us.

Salvation

Salvation is the process by which God redeems sinners who turn to Him in faith. It is a free gift, received through faith in Christ alone, and cannot be earned through penance, merit, or good works. Salvation includes regeneration (new birth), justification (being made right with God), sanctification (growing in holiness), and glorification (eternal perfection with Christ).

The Bible

The Bible is the perfect, reliable Word of God to all people. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Scriptures were written by human authors and contain God’s complete revelation to humanity within its 66 books. The Bible is sufficient for all matters of life and godliness and is totally true and trustworthy. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and it is the true center of Christian unity and the supreme standard for all human conduct, beliefs, and opinions.
