Pastor Ed Gourdin has spent over 20 years faithfully serving in ministry, including roles as a deacon, youth minister, and Sunday school teacher before being ordained as a pastor. Beyond his work for the Kingdom, he is a devoted husband to Pastor DaWanda Gourdin and a proud father to their two daughters, Alyssa and Jasmine. Pastor Ed’s heart is to reach those often overlooked in our community, sharing the hope, love, and life-changing power of Jesus with everyone he meets. He is passionate about helping people discover their God-given purpose and walk boldly in His promises.

Pastor DaWanda Gourdin is a proud mother to two daughters, Alyssa and Jasmine, and a loving wife to Pastor Edward Gourdin. She has faithfully served in ministry for over 10 years and was officially ordained as a pastor in 2024. Pastor DaWanda has a deep passion for praise and worship, children’s and youth ministries, and serving women in all seasons of life. Her genuine heart to serve, listen, pray, and love without condemnation sets her apart and reflects her desire to see others walk in the freedom and love of Christ.

Minister Pam Mitchell received her calling many years ago and has been serving as an ordained minister at Faith Connections for over a year. She co-leads Marriage Beyond “I Do” alongside her husband, Deacon Tyrone Mitchell. Pam is a proud mother of two and a loving MawMaw to three energetic grandsons. An active member of Zeta Amicae of Charlotte, NC, she supports the Delta Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Chapter. Her deepest desire is for everyone to have a personal encounter with Christ.

Minister Tamiko Dixon is a true people person who loves ministering to individuals from all backgrounds. She has served in Vacation Bible School, Children’s Church, Hospitality, and the Gospel Step Ministry. With over 35 years of experience in American Sign Language and a certificate in ASL, she uses her skills to connect and serve the community. Tamiko is Faith Connections’ Outreach Leader and a lead preschool teacher with more than 25 years of experience. 

Deacon Tyrone Mitchell, ordained as a deacon, is dedicated to using his God-given talents to serve the church and community. He co-leads Marriage Beyond "I Do" with his wife, Minister Pam Mitchell. Tyrone has a gift for acting and has appeared in two church-based, biblical plays, Life and Order: Sins Victims Unit and Master, Is It I. He loves serving wherever he is needed. In addition to his service, Tyrone is a devoted husband, proud father, and grandfather.

Jasmine Gourdin has grown up in Faith Connections and has been part of the Media Ministry since the church was founded in 2017. She has led the ministry since 2019 and oversees all social media and website communications, working to keep our online community connected. Jasmine also manages the church’s audio-visual needs and works closely with the praise team. Passionate about bridging gaps across generations, cultures, and traditions, she is dedicated to uniting everyone in faith and fellowship.
